Her Sacrifice

Lives intertwined, hearts in peril
A mind in confusion, a heart in vague
Thoughts a circle, mind's a bloody mess

She circles in the room wondering about her future
Listening to herself, crying...
She puts her head down and thinks to herself
Not knowing her voice of reason is in her grasp

She stared in the mirror seeing her unwanted past
seeing herself destroyed by her stare,
looking through herself and analyzing what would be,
listening to the silence of her beating heart

Hand risen a face in fear
A tainted heart that's what's near
On the floor running and soaking
Is her blood of sacrifice, her eyes in tears
Her love he slandered, her heart he creased

Her eyes on water, her love in the depths of the sea
her heart drowning, is there anyone to see?
Was there anyone who saw?
Was someone right there?

Given chances, decisions one at a time
A state of confusion from the dreary lies
crimson showers that falls on hand
A night she couldn't withstand.
